Hi, I am a professor at Shiga University in Japan. I specialize in environmental and resource economics, focusing on sustainable urban planning. Specific topics include the following:

  • Promoting green infrastructure to balance environmental amenities and disaster management
  • Building disaster-resilient communities
  • Designing inclusive urban transportation for the coexistence of automobiles, pedestrians, and bicycles
